The Lincolnshire CLA AGM was held at Hackthorn earlier this month, which is the estate that belongs to Terravesta chairman, William Cracroft-Eley.
Delegates gave fantastic feedback, according to Claire Wright, regional surveyor for CLA East.
“All of the delegates I spoke to were entirely positive about the event. Some of them said it was the best AGM they had been to,” says Claire.
“It’s a relatively private estate, and William and his wife Maggie put on a fantastic tour of the grounds, which featured an overview of the farm and a look at the miscanthus planting. A delicious lunch was laid on which included local produce, and the networking in the afternoon was a real success.
“We had over 80 in attendance on the day, and thank William, Maggie, and the Terravesta team for helping to put on such a great event,” adds Claire.
