We’re getting out and about and exhibiting at two leading industry events this October and November, to tell growers about the opportunity miscanthus presents, in making better returns from marginal land.
LEP Business Live- Friday October 23
We’re exhibiting at the LEP Business Live event, run by the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (GLLEP) at the EPIC centre at Lincolnshire Showground.
The event, taking place on Friday October 23, from 9.00 am 2.00 pm, will feature exhibitors, guest speakers, advisory sessions and business networking.
LEP Business Live is staged by the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership in collaboration with Lincolnshire Media and aims to shine a spotlight on the range of industries which make a vital contribution to the greater Lincolnshire economy.
This year there will be a dedicated exhibition area with industry zones covering property, finance, energy, digital, business and skills, and the theme at the show is celebrating greater Lincolnshire.

The Farm Business Innovation show November 11 and 12
Come and see us at the Farm Business Innovation Show, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham on November 11 and 12.
The show aims to provide farmers and landowners with guidance in rural business and land diversification.
Housing over 200 exhibitors, and including 150 seminars, live features and opportunities to get advice about how to make better returns from your land, it’s a must for farmers looking to diversify.
The Terravesta team will all be at hand to speak to growers about the opportunity miscanthus presents in offering a secure opportunity for marginal land, with minimal resource requirements.
According to Terravesta chairman William Cracroft-Eley, diversifying into this crop means low inputs and high returns. “Growing miscanthus offers greater security of high annual net margin than almost any other crop, while reducing working capital and overhead costs.
“A low-maintenance crop that’s sustainable, profitable and reliable, miscanthus typically delivers high annual yields (currently delivering 12-18 tonnes per hectare from well-established crops) and delivers consistent returns from contracts with Terravesta for 20-plus years, offering farmers and landowners unrivalled security and peace of mind,” says William.
Suited to marginal land, with minimal resource requirements, diversifying into this crop means low inputs and high returns.
William and the rest of the Terravesta team will be on stand number 1064 at the Farm Business Innovation Show to give you advice and answer any questions you have on the number one UK energy crop.
