Dr Anita Shepherd, Supergen Bioenergy Hub Research Fellow, needs your help to contribute to valuable research on Miscanthus growing.
If you complete this short survey – taking around 15 minutes – you will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a Wensleydale Creamery cheese hamper!
About the research
With advances in Miscanthus breeding and government policies to increase carbon storage or avoid greenhouse gas emissions, we need to identify the barriers to expanding Miscanthus cropping for bioenergy in the UK.
Therefore Dr Anita Shepherd is asking you, the Miscanthus grower, to give her and her team feedback on your experience of growing Miscanthus by completing a short survey. Your responses will be invaluable to the future of the bioeconomy, and the researchers want to know why growers decide to plant Miscanthus, the type of farms it is being planted on, and the benefits and drawbacks of this crop.
The survey will take about 15 minutes and should be submitted online by 31st October 2021.
Collective statistics from all the responses will be used in reports and summaries which will be available to researchers and industry and to inform policy advice.
ALL RESPONSES WILL BE COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS.
Upon submitting your survey you will be taken to a different site, unrelated to the survey to optionally give your email for the prize draw for a Wensleydale Creamery cheese hamper.
