The first Miscanthus farm walk of the year will take place in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.
Its free of charge to attend, and farmers interested in finding out more about Miscanthus are invited to come along and learn about growing markets for the crop.
To start the proceedings we will present on the life-cycle of Miscanthus, then run through spring planting and harvesting, the limited crop maintenance required, and outline the growing markets for it. There will be chances to ask any burning questions you have at any point in the day.
Then we will head out to look at a Miscanthus crop with our grower host, Robert Hammond, with a chance to mingle and speak to the Terravesta team about how Miscanthus could fit into your business model.
We will lay on a complimentary networking lunch for all those in attendance.
