While we were delighted with the attendance and subsequent interest in planting from our September / October Farm Walks, we are still receiving enquiries from existing and potential growers and will be having another half day on the 11th of December to show excellent crops established using current planting techniques.
Although rhizome cost of £1,050/ha with loan of planter is as low as it has ever been, planting a 10 year crop is still a significant business decision, and the opportunity to see and experience the crop and ask questions about the crop, the contracts and Terravesta, away from other distractions, should be helpful in making those decisions, and seeing how it fits on your farm.
