Our farm walks are designed to show farmers everything that’s involved with growing Miscanthus.
To start the proceedings, we present on the life cycle of the crop then run through spring planting and harvesting, the limited crop maintenance required, and outline the growing markets for it. There are chances to ask any burning questions you have at any point in the day.
Then we head out to look at a Miscanthus crop with our grower host, with a chance to mingle and speak to the Terravesta team about how Miscanthus could fit into your business model.
We always provide refreshments in the form of a breakfast buffet or a light lunch and each event is free of charge to attend.
The walks get booked up fast, so it’s advisable to book early to secure your place. Register on our homepage or email Jacob Duce: jacobd@terravesta.com.
