This year, for the first time, we invited visitors onto a whopping 15 x 40 metre crop plot site, to showcase miscanthus through its growth stages, and display our latest seed trials, with a four row planter.
The stand was a hive of activity, with guests encouraged to come and look at the crops as well as talk to the experts, and have a personal long term price plan calculated, according to their available hectarage.
And once they came on the stand, they had a job leaving again, with the allure of local ale provided by Greg’s Brewery on tap all day, served from a double decker Terravesta bus, and a locally reared hog roast on the menu.
We’ve put together an image gallery covering the packed two days of the show. Take a look!
