The Terravesta team entertained growers and friends at the jaw-droppingly scenic Leadenham Polo Club, in Lincolnshire, earlier this month.
As co-sponsors of the event with Mount and Minster – award winning estate agents, Terravesta had the opportunity to host the hospitality marquee, inviting guests from around Lincolnshire and Rutland to watch the polo in an exclusive VIP area.
While watching the nail-biting tournament, our growers were well watered with champagne and Pimm’s, which flowed throughout the two days.
And blessed with sweltering weather, we cooked 260 Lincolnshire sausages from Odling Bros Ltd, in Navenby, on our new BBQ miscanthus briquettes and firelighters.
12 teams from across the country competed in an exciting tournament, and the Terravesta team played brilliantly, putting up a strong opposition. However, congratulations goes a deserving winner – the Mount Minster team won the tournament.
Overall a fantastic time was had over the weekend of the 8th and 9th July, and it was an excellent opportunity to treat our growers to a great day out.
